WhatNotToSay#11 looks at aunts and uncles

WhatNotToSay#11 is really personal for me as we look at being an aunt or uncle.

In fact, I had a variation of this comment made to me only a couple of weeks ago.

I’m not going to write any more here because I don’t want to repeat what we have included in the video.

As we are often finding the comment is based on a number of assumptions. Andrew and I explore all of these in the video. This one is a little longer than some of the others. Which is an indication of how much this particular comment makes my blood boil.

We hope our thoughts have given you something to think about. In Creating A New And Beautiful Existence we need to find ways to overcome the insensitive comments that people say to us.

Practice makes perfect

It’s all well and good writing about things in theory: however, we need to start applying what we learn. If you are feeling strong enough, I would like you to plan your “ideal world” response to this type of comment. Give it a go even though no one has ever made this comment to you. There is always a first time, and it’s better to be prepared.
