WhatNotToSay#7 looks at the myth about money

WhatNotToSay#7

WhatNotToSay#7 is about the huge amount of money that we have saved, or not spent, because we don’t have children.

Some people believe that because we don’t have children then we must have saved money. This is not always true. In some cases, it is. However, not in all cases.

It’s like assuming that ALL parents don’t have enough money. I know people with children who are rolling in money and some who are just scrapping by.

As usual to assume anything is making an “ass out of u and me”.

The correlation between children and money is like the correlation of saying as you are single you must be saving loads of money.

Here are the thoughts we have about the comment. I apologise for Nicci’s slip up towards the end. She obviously didn’t have her teeth in properly or her brain engaged at the time. Luckily I caught the mistake and hopefully you will be able to understand her point of view.

We hope our thoughts have given you something to think about. In Creating A New And Beautiful Existence we need to find ways to overcome the insensitive comments that people say to us.

Practice makes perfect

It’s all well and good writing about things in theory: however, we need to start applying what we learn. If you are feeling strong enough, I would like you to plan your “ideal world” response to this type of comment. Give it a go even though no one has ever made this comment to you. There is always a first time, and it’s better to be prepared.

Be kind to yourself …
